Our Mission
Our Lady’s Healing Center is an apostolate with the mission to bring Christ’s divine healing in the Catholic Tradition. Our 12-month healing journey begins with a 5-day residential healing program at our beautiful facility in Seadrift, Texas. Inspired by the promptings of the Holy Spirit, Our Lady's Healing Center is a response to the growing need to assist those who have been wounded and are hurting. Our Lady’s Healing Center has developed a healing program centered on the life of Christ and acceptance of His invitation to be healed and transformed through the sacraments.

Michael Fonseca, D.Min.Director of Healing
Dr. Michael Fonseca is a former member of the Society of Jesus. As a Jesuit priest, he served the people of the Archdiocese of Ranchi, India. His numerous assignments included teaching college courses and serving as a much sought after retreat master and spiritual director. He was named Vice-Provincial Superior for the formation of Jesuit seminarians in Ranchi, and was subsequently appointed Provincial Superior of the Ranchi Jesuit Province. In 1990, Dr. Fonseca requested, and was granted laicization from his priestly duties. In good standing with the Church, Dr. Fonseca has worked energetically as a layperson with the Dioceses of Gaylord MI, Grand Rapids MI, and Victoria TX over the past twenty-plus years.
Degrees & Certifications- Doctorate in Ministry (D.Min.) from Graduate Theological Foundation, South Bend, IN, U.S.A.
- M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Loyola University, Chicago, U.S.A.
- B.Th (Hons) from Vidyajyoti, Jesuit College of Theology, Delhi, India;
- M.A. in English Literature from Karnatak University, Dharwar, India;
- Licentiate in Philosophy from the Papal Athenaeum, Pune India.
Ministry- 2023 to Present – Director of Healing at Our Lady's Healing Center.
- 2006 to Present – President of God's Embrace Ministries.
- 2000 to 2013 – Director of Spiritual Formation of Adults for the Diocese of Gaylord.
- 2002 to 2005 – Coordinator for Spiritual Formation of the Diaconate Program of Diocese of Grand Rapids.
- 1998 to 2014 – Coordinator for Spiritual Formation in the Diaconate Program of the Diocese of Victoria, Texas.
- 1993 to 1999 – Director of Spiritual Formation at Saint Luke Institute, a Psychiatric Residential Center, Silver Spring, Maryland.
